Why AwardForge

Built for leaders who write award packages

Less time fighting templates and line limits; more time on what your reviewer actually scores—the what, how, and impact of each accomplishment.

Award season without the midnight rewrite

When you are packaging multiple end-of-tour or quarterly awards, AwardForge turns verified bullets into structured drafts so you spend time on substance—not reformatting the same narrative.

Fewer PAR kickbacks on format

Line limits, mandatory opening and closing lines, third-person rank usage, and acronym rules vary by branch. Use the wizard to apply the right structure so your decoration citation is easier for your reviewer to clear.

Summary of action and citation from one fact set

When a package needs both a Summary of Action and a separate citation, AwardForge expands context in the SOA without copying the citation verbatim—using only facts you enter.

Board-ready polish when it matters

Important packages deserve tighter structure and tone. Professional and Unlimited+ tiers add enhanced polish while staying grounded in your supplied achievements—never invented metrics.

FAQ

Common questions from award writers

Who is AwardForge for—officers, staff NCOs, or S1?+

AwardForge is built for company-grade leaders and staff NCOs who draft award packages: company commanders, first sergeants, and officers writing end-of-tour or quarterly nominations. It helps you structure citations and summaries of action; your S1 or MPA still owns official routing and approval.

Will AwardForge invent achievements, dates, or metrics?+

No. AwardForge structures only what you enter. It does not fabricate numbers, events, or decorations. Fill in verifiable facts from EPRs, OPRs, or your own notes before anything goes to your chain of command.

Does it draft both a Summary of Action and a decoration citation?+

Yes, for award types that require both. Use the wizard to produce a citation-style draft and, when applicable, a separate Summary of Action that expands scope and leadership context without duplicating the citation word-for-word.

How do monthly citation limits work?+

Each full run through the award wizard counts as one citation. Your allowance resets at the start of each calendar month. Basic fits occasional packages; Standard suits regular drafting; Professional and Unlimited+ add enhanced polish and higher volume for busy award seasons.

Which plan fits one DA Form 638 package vs a full award season?+

Basic works for a single package or trial run. Standard is the best fit for most year-round writers. Professional helps when narratives face a board or senior endorsement. Unlimited+ scales monthly allowance during high-volume periods, up to a fair-use cap.

Is AwardForge official, and can I use classified or CUI text?+

AwardForge is not a U.S. government system and is not affiliated with DoD. Use unclassified information only. Do not enter classified, CUI, or operational details. Your chain of command and current service guidance decide what is approved.

Where do I subscribe to a paid plan?+

Sign in, open Settings → Subscriptions, and choose a plan. Checkout is secure; prices on the home and Pricing pages match what you pay. You can also get product updates by email without an account in the updates section below.
