About AwardForge
AwardForge is a subscription web app that helps U.S. military members draft awards and citations in branch-appropriate formats.
What is AwardForge?
Branch-aware drafting for U.S. officers and staff NCOs. AwardForge helps Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard leaders use the wizard to turn verified achievements into structured draft packages—including decoration citations and summaries of action when your award type requires both.
You supply the facts; AwardForge helps with structure—not invention. Outputs are drafting aids only. All text must be reviewed by your chain of command and submitted through official channels.
Who is it for?
AwardForge is built for company-grade leaders and staff NCOs who draft award packages: company commanders, first sergeants, and officers writing end-of-tour or quarterly nominations. It helps you structure citations and summaries of action; your S1 or MPA still owns official routing and approval.
What it does and does not do
Use the wizard to capture what actually happened—ranks, dates, and achievements you can verify. AwardForge structures your input into a citation-style draft. It does not invent accomplishments, dates, or events you did not provide.
For award types that require both, you can produce a citation-style draft and, when applicable, a separate Summary of Action that expands scope and leadership context without duplicating the citation word-for-word.
AwardForge does not guarantee award approval. Verify every fact, format, and routing step against current service guidance before submission.
